The Geovita Resort is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Krynica-Zdrój, right next to forests and the Spa Park, surrounded by the picturesque hills of the Beskid Sądecki Mountains. The proximity of hiking trails, cycling routes and ski slopes makes Geovita an excellent place for both active recreation and relaxation – away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to the centre of the spa town.
In the autumn season, the main attractions of the spa town include:
• Marked hiking trails and educational nature paths, many of which can also be used as cycling routes – including Jaworzyna Krynicka (1,114 m above sea level) and Park Mountain (742 m above sea level), located within the 60-hectare Spa Park, accessible by a historic funicular railway built in 1937;
• Eight cycling routes in Krynica-Zdrój with a total length of 125 km. The routes are named after Krynica’s mineral springs and are clearly marked;
• Mountain bike and electric bike rentals;
• Treetop Observation Tower – a structure built at the top of the Słotwiny Arena ski station (896 m above sea level);
• Promenade and Mineral Water Pump Rooms;
• Year-round rope park, pontoon and kayak rafting, and paintball;
• Alpine coaster and outdoor gyms;
• Multimedia fountain;
• “Bajka” Toy Museum, Nikifor Museum and Mountain Tourism Museum;
• Festivals and cultural events, including concerts at the Main Mineral Water Pump Room.
